  • Settling In

Cunningsburgh History Group are starting the process of getting settled into their new building. The project has taken a couple of years to get to this stage and the group are looking forward to getting their computers installed and having a place to carry out research over the winter months.

The Opening Do went well with a good turn out of folk to view the building and to admire the photos on display. Teas were served in the afternoon and the in the evening there was an excellent concert with many tallented local folk perfoming. The group were delighted with the enthusiasm and encouragement received from the visitors and the interest shown in the work the Group have carried out so far. Thanks to Alan Gair, Eileen Brooke-Freeman and Jacqueline Halcrow for taking photos.

The new building will be open by request during the 2010 Hamefarin event. Please contact us via the Contact Page.
